ENTER THAILAND (COVID-19)
An updated relaxed measures for entry into Thailand from 1 April 2021
(For those who arrive in Thailand from 00.01 of 1 April 2021 (Thailand time) onwards.)
Thai citizens can enter Thailand without requirement of Fit to Fly or Covid-19 negative test result.
However, for transit in some countries, they may still be required to present the Covid-19 negative test result.

Non-Thai citizens are exempted from presenting Fit to Fly documents. However, Covid-19 negative test result is still mandatory. Health insurance policy from Thai insurance companies with coverage of not less than 100,000 USD, including Covid-19 treatments, is recommended.
Travelers from non-mutated Covid-19 countries, including Norway and Iceland can be in quarantine not less than 10 days.
Travelers from mutated Covid-19 countries, namely, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Rwanda, Cameroon, DR Congo, Ghana and Tanzania, are still required to be in quarantine not less than 14 days.
Travelers from non-mutated countries who are the holders of vaccine certificate, may be allowed to have not less than 7-day quarantine. Full doses of vaccine must be completed not less than 14 days prior to the arrival in Thailand.
At the moment only certain vaccines, approved by World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, namely:
- Astra Zeneca
- Serum Institute of India
- Johnson & Johnson
are accepted. Self-quarantine is not allowed.
