The Buddhist ceremony to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, Thailand’s National Day and the Father’s Day of Thailand on 5 December

On 4 December 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo held a Buddhist ceremony to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, Thailand’s National Day and the Father’s Day of Thailand on 5 December.
The ceremony was attended by Ambassador, Embassy’s officials and representatives of the Thai community in Norway, in compliance with COVID-19 health measures in Oslo. The ceremony was conducted in the spirit of pride and happiness for our beloved Nation and monarchy.
The Embassy wishes to express our appreciation to Mrs. Marianne Borgen, the Mayor of Oslo for sending a lovely congratulatory bouquet of flowers to the Ambassador on Thailand’s National Day. We also deeply appreciate Thai Orchid and Lann A-Roy Thai restaurants for contributing Thai dishes to offer to the monks for this special occasion.
